Common questions
#1How do I create an account or sign in?
Choose Register in the header, select your role, complete the required contact verification and then sign in. After sign-in, Register is hidden and My account is shown.
#2How do I publish a tax or accounting request?
Choose Post a request, complete the core facts, use AI guidance to identify missing information, and submit. Your request can receive quotes in the Demand Hall. Do not put highly sensitive identifiers in public fields.
#3Can I send an existing request to an accountant?
Yes. When viewing a suitable accountant or service, choose the option to send an existing request and select one of your published requests. This avoids completing the request form again and keeps the recipient linked to the order flow.
#4How do payments, refunds and disputes work?
Use the payment method shown in the order. Stripe, Airwallex or another disclosed provider may process the payment. Holds, delayed settlement, refunds and disputes follow the accepted quote, order status, evidence, provider rules and applicable law.
#5How do encrypted chat, files and offline email notices work?
Open the message area of an order with an established trading relationship. Messages are end-to-end encrypted. Offline ciphertext may be kept for up to 7 days and removed after receipt or expiry. Files can be sent only while the recipient is online. If the recipient is offline, only the first unread message in that unread cycle triggers one email inviting them to sign in; no second email is sent until the recipient signs in and acknowledges reading a message, which resets the cycle. Evidence is disclosed to support staff only when a party intentionally submits it through the dispute workflow.
#6What should I do before buying or selling a company?
Treat listings as information, not verification. Use an independent lawyer, CPA or registered agent for legal, tax, financial and operational due diligence. A verified badge means the stated review workflow was completed; it is not a guarantee of value, liabilities or transaction success.
#7What can the platform AI do?
AI can organize request information, identify possible missing items, support site search and explain platform use. It does not replace a qualified professional and important results must be independently verified.
#8What modules make up Entity Tax?
The platform uses a closed loop of identity, marketplace and orders, payments and escrow, encrypted messaging, professional due diligence, risk and arbitration, bilateral reviews and membership, AI assistance, local finance workpapers, tax-data connectors, referrals, and administration/audit/analytics. Knowledge version: 2026-07-23.platform-governance.v1.
#9How is AI knowledge updated?
Approved official or authorized sources are reviewed by an administrator, redacted where needed, versioned internally and published only after approval. The browser does not live-crawl external sites, and customer financial data is not used for training without separate consent.
#10Where is financial workpaper data processed?
Imports, calculations, checks, printing and seals run in the current browser. Refreshing or closing clears working data. Connectors may return selected-period totals; raw financial rows are not retained by Entity Tax.
#11How do language and policy controls work?
The system uses the visitor's system language until a language is manually selected; a manual selection applies to every page. Policy text and AI support topics are maintained for all supported languages.
